George's story
I'm George Zambartas.
For over 20 years I've worked alongside accountants and tax advisers, helping hundreds of contract workers get their affairs set up properly.
A while ago I was introduced to an offshore scaffolder with a new contract starting. He had a limited company and an accountant, but no idea whether he needed to register for CIS. Nobody had ever explained it to him. He wasn't careless. He was confused and stressed, because the people he was paying hadn't made it simple.
We sorted it in one conversation.
Then he told his mates. Every offshore client we've taken on since has come the same way: by referral.
That's when I realised how much difference we could make in this industry. Rotational work, CIS on some contracts and not others, weeks with no signal: it's a different world to a typical office contractor, and my team and I genuinely enjoy getting it right.
